Trip to NMRA 2002 in Fort Lauderdale,
Fl July 2002 The Plan for the trip is to catch as many Amtrak trains as possible
because of the potential shut down. The second priority is Tri-Rail, then
FEC if time and luck permits and then CSX.

AMTRAK GCFX Ghost and stripes AMTRAK:
Sunset Limited On my way from Kissimmee to a place where I can
catch the Sunset Limited, at Taft, I get a look at the brand new paint
job for the GCFX ghosts. Their answer to artistic futility: stripes. Actually
not bad.
In the meantime, at CSX, after confusion rises with the exConrail leased
LMS engines (they had the same numbers as the SD70MACs but with different
reporting marks, these are renumbered with the other GEs, and the LMS letters
...covered up.
