AMTRAK Friday Sanford-Orlando It is almost another hour after Q456 before the Silver Star makes its
entrance into Sanford.
A quick stop allows a few passengers to hop in.On the left is the Sanford
depot.
I had caught only a glimpse of the AMT 500s Dash 8-32BW until now.
The 506 is used to switch cars of the Auto Train that recently arrived.
While waiting for the Silver Star, I catch this car probably waiting
for a decision to be made about the funding.
With no prospect of action in the near future, I slowly drift down
to Winter Park depot to wait for the NB Silver Meteor.
No question about it, these is thE spot to watch trains in the Orlando
area.
