CSX Friday at Sanford-Orlando The plan for the day is to run early in the morning to Sanford
and maybe catch the Auto Train. No luck. All I find is CSX 5881 sitting
idle at the Sanford Depot.
No power of observation whatsoever. It took me 2 hours waiting for
trains on the platform to even notice that the number boards were of different
fonts.
Is this another case of Wrecked and Repaired?
As I was getting closer to Sanford, I had heard chatter on the radio,
but only MOW releasing track warrants. I suspected something so I decided
to wait it out at the Sanford depot as the Silver Star should not be long.
Instead, Q455 is catch #1.
Q455 slows down for a meet in Longwood with its counter-part Q456 seen
here take-off after the meet.
