South Alabama RR; Troy Al; Spring 1998. 9424 was listed twice in American Shortline Railway Guide once
as a GP18 working for the Tennessee Southern; it was also listed as an
SW14 working for Southern Alabama RR. It also had the marking from CLSL,
Columbia & Silver Creek RR from Mississippi, a company operated by
Gloster Southern owned by Georgia Pacific, which discontinued the operation
in 1995. This engine was gone in March 2001.
