Goals:

Trace the history of the railraods in the Tallahassee area;
Provide information to visiting railfans;
Provide pictures of railroad activity in the area
Share experiences and photos that I got over the years while traveling out of my regular stomping ground.

Credits: I would have never spotted many of the trains that are on this web page and in my slide collection without the help of the members of SErails, a discussion group located at www.railspot.com (now at groups.yahoo.com/group/SErails). I am moslty thinking about Larry Seale and Jim Ladurskey of Pensacola, on P&A subdivision and Mike Palmieri of New Orleans, and also members of the ACL-SAL historical society and Southern Railway Historical Association. References: a list of references is provided on the subpages. There are some very good books and articles out there about railroads that are very nicely priced considering the wealth of information they contained. Please support these publications.
